A HUAWEI FreeBuds 5i Hi-Res Audio Wireless tanúsítvánnyal rendelkezik, amely lehetővé teszi a szélesebb frekvenciaátvitelt és nagy felbontású hangzást HD6 audioforrásokhoz. Hozza az elvárható szintet a FreeBuds 5i, az üzemidő gyengébb lett, jött kárpótlásként IP-tanúsítvány. Az aktív zajszűrés továbbra is adott, de erős fehér zajt generál, ami már a zavaró kategóriába esik. Az általánosságban jó hangzást segíti, hogy nagy felbontású kodeket is támogat már az eszköz, a mély hangok részletessége és tisztasága ugyanakkor még nem tökéletes. Az új dizájn nem drasztikus változás, de kicsit frissebb megjelenést kölcsönöz, már csak Qi töltés kellene a tokba.
A Huawei Freebuds 5i kifejezetten nagy előrelépés a FreeBuds 4i-hez képest, a 43 ezer forintos ajánlott fogyasztói ár ellenére pedig meglepően jó a hangzás és a zajszűrés mértéke is. Szintén nagy plusz az akkumulátor élettartama és a gesztusvezérlés is, melyre például a a 95 ezer forintos, 3. generációs AirPodsban sincs lehetőségünk, így ha egy olcsóbb, de több területen is helytálló vezeték nélküli fülhallgatót keres, a Huawei új készülékében szinte biztosan nem fog csalódni.
After extensive testing, I found a single downside on the FreeBuds 5i: not having a clear battery indicator. The case lacks wireless charging, but that's not essential for TWS earbuds. At $99, the FreeBuds 5i are a steal. They sound and last like they cost much more. In Brazil, where most electronics usually retail for double or triple their price in dollars, they cost the same. My advice is: go and get some. They're totally worth the price.
Huawei’s new generation of affordable wireless earbuds are back with new active noise cancelling modes that very few brands can offer in this price range. In addition, it adds the IPX4 certification for fitness use and Hi-Res Audio support.
If you own a Huawei smartphone and have a budget of £100, then absolutely. Barring wireless charging and custom EQ options they tick every box and are a bigger upgrade on the 4i than the FreeBuds Pro 2 were on their predecessor. That said, it’s worth checking the price of the FreeBuds Pro 2 before splashing out. They’ve been as cheap as £120 and it’s well worth paying that bit extra for wireless charging, improved sound quality and slightly more effective adaptive noise cancellation.
The HUAWEI FreeBuds 5i are impressive budget wireless earbuds with support for ANC and high-res audio. We think most people will enjoy using these buds not just for their features and price tag, but for their comfort and good sound too.

A very well-equipped pair of Bluetooth buds. They aren’t perfect, but the Freebuds 5i deliver decent active cancelling at a price that isn’t to be sniffed at.
Huawei FreeBuds 5i is quite an interesting model of completely wireless earbuds for the middle-price segment. It has good functionality, which is often a feature of more expensive models, relatively high sound quality, and LDAC support.
Huawei proved that its FreeBuds 5i ANC in-ear headphones, which cost just under €100, you do not necessarily have to spend a fortune to get good sound in your ears. The ANC in-ear headphones have improved in almost all aspects compared to its predecessor. Nevertheless, I "only" give them four stars here as well.
The Huawei Freebuds 5i look good, sound good and have lots of handy features like multipoint connectivity and ANC. The only problem is that the AI Life app isn't available on the Google Play Store, although you can download it from the Huawei App Gallery and the Apple Appstore.
The Huawei FreeBuds 5i earbuds are a great value proposition at 99 euro. What's even more impressive is that the company has managed to cram in some really decent technology and features for that price. The noise cancellation is really good, and the sound quality is also on par with much more expensive earbuds.
The Huawei Freebuds 5i are right at the top of their class in the price range of around 100 euros because there aren’t too many True Wireless in-ears that come with a high-resolution codec, good noise cancelling, multipoint and a latency-reduced gaming mode. The wearing comfort, battery life and awareness mode also offered no cause for criticism. However, points were deducted for the unobtrusive sound of the headphones when ANC was deactivated and for the inadequate implementation of the equaliser.
The Huawei FreeBuds 5i are a great pair of budget friendly TWS buds, offering big features for a wallet friendly price. They include decent quality ANC and Awareness modes, which work well even on a plane, and music, podcasts, audiobooks and more sound fantastic on them as well.
The new in-ear headphones really surprised me in the Huawei FreeBuds 5i test. Earbuds for under 100 euros… I usually do not expect earth-shattering much, but the manufacturer has taught me otherwise. For features like a high-resolution audio codec (LDAC), multipoint and such a strong active noise cancellation, you usually have to dig much deeper into your pocket.
The Huawei FreeBuds 5i are not the best truly wireless earbuds around, they’re not even Huawei’s best earbuds, but… they’re surely worth the money, and there’s a reason we’ve opted to award it our editor’s review badge. You will hardly find a better pair of earbuds for under €100. If your budget is limited to under €100, and you still want to grab an excellent pair of truly wireless earphones with almost all bells and whistles, well, don’t look any further, the FreeBuds 5i are the way to go.
