Érdemes megfontolni a Galaxy S23+-t is, amely a Samsung középső gyermeke a legújabb zászlóshajó-kínálatában. 85 ezer forinttal kevesebbért, mint az Ultra, a Galaxy S23+ elveszíti a 200 MP-es érzékelőt (a 10-szeres periszkóp lencsével együtt), az 1440p-s kijelzőt és természetesen az S Pent. Emiatt végül mindent összevetve túlárazottnak nem neveznénk, pláne úgy, hogy közvetlen vetélytársa nincs is nagyon.
A Samsung idei csúcsmodellje nemcsak a márka kínálatán belül, hanem a mobilpiacon is egyedülálló, méghozzá a beépített érintőtoll miatt, ami egészen biztosan pluszt jelent majd, ha szeretsz jegyzetelni, rajzolni, vagy egyszerűen csak tollal bökdösni a kijelzőt az ujjad helyett. Az S23 Ultra a gördülékeny működésével, az átgondolt szoftverével és a páratlan kamerájával is meggyőzött minket. Csak egy kicsivel lehetne kisebb, de erre ugye két megoldása is van a Samsungnak.

For one of the first new mobile devices of 2023, it sets an awfully high bar to clear. If all of that’s not Ultra-worthy, then I’m not sure what is.

Indeed, the Galaxy S23 Ultra's one flaw is perhaps entirely not its own - the S22 Ultra was just too good. Following up on that was always going to be little more than polishing touches that inevitably lack the wow factor. But if you can switch into managing expectations mode, rather than moan about the lack of innovation or originality, you'll appreciate this year's Ultra for its maturity.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra is a lot, but in a good way. Its large screen, 200-megapixel camera, 100x zoom and S Pen might be more than most people need in a phone. But that's exactly who Samsung is targeting, and it's ultimately iterating on a formula that's worked in the past.
While the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is clearly the do-it-all Android smartphone money can buy at the moment, it all comes at a premium, which despite a price bump, isn't hard to justify to a fan of the Ultra series or a creator who is looking for such pro-grade features in a smartphone. For a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra owner though, it might not be the most enticing upgrade this year, unless you crave the latest hardware or need that 8K 30fps capability. Now, if we can only get a smaller sized Ultra smartphone next year, I think I'll be truly happy.

Does the new S23 Ultra feel like an "S" version? While we cannot outright recommend S22 Ultra owners to upgrade, those who rock an older phone and are looking for a flagship, will love the S23 Ultra. It has addressed many of the minor niggles we had with the S21 and S22 Ultra (still mighty good smartphones), particularly in areas such as battery life. It is evolution, not revolution, that we see here. Unfortunately, sales are driven by innovation, and despite bragging rights for a 200MP primary sensor, it still shoots at 12.5MP.
If you’re using an S20 and want to upgrade and can’t go without that 200-megapixel new camera, or if you’re using a Note 20 and you’re looking for something new with the best camera on the market, the S23 Ultra is the choice for you. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is the most phone you can buy with every feature you could ask for, with the only downsides being its size, bad selfie camera, and slow charging.
Galaxy S22 Ultra users may find the new Galaxy S23 Ultra less attractive because of its incremental gains, but that's a benefit for these older phones. You're not obsolete within a year, and the price you pay is for the extra megapixels on a main camera, a more comfortable viewing experience, and smoother phone operation.
It's the very best Android phone you can buy and would be absolutely perfect if it weren't for the weird camera issues. It's got a better-than-usual processor upgrade, up to 2-day battery life, years of software updates in tow, and the power of the Galaxy ecosystem behind it.
There's two ways to look at the Galaxy S23 Ultra: as an upgrade over the S22 Ultra it's marginal, almost like a half-mast 'S' edition rather than full-blown next-level upgrade; but as a standalone device it's an exceptional, refined and accomplished piece of hardware that's easily among the best Android phones you could consider in 2023. Yes, it's pricey, but if you want the master of all then Samsung is a force to be reckoned with.
