I'm happy to see Asus put good effort into their mainstream lineup of thin-and-light ultrabooks and improve the ZenBook 14 in this 2022 UX3402 generation. They included excellent 16:10 display options with this update, revamped the design and ergonomics, bumped the performance capabilities by implementing Intel Core P hardware specs, and put a larger battery inside. Despite that, though, efficiency is still lacking with 12th-gen Intel platforms, and the weight of this series has increased from the previous model.
Obviously, the Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3402) is far from a gaming device. However, this doesn’t stop it from being a fantastic business notebook, which can let you do professional color-related work while elevating your media-consumption experience.
The Asus Zenbook 14 (UX3402) is an excellent laptop, boasting a rich and colour-accurate OLED display, good keyboard, great overall performance, and a battery that’ll get you through the working day. Avoid if you’re workload needs a dedicated GPU, though.
The performance conundrum of a slim gaming laptop is something Asus hasn’t fully solved with the Dash F15. But if you’re after a lightweight laptop with the premium screen and components that can handle high-end gaming with good frame rates for the price, the Dash F15 may be for you.
The ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3402) is one of those laptops that I can recommend to most interested users without hesitation. It has almost everything you would expect from a laptop of this class, although, of course, there are some drawbacks. Let me start with them.

Apart from its fantastic OLED display, the ZenBook 14 OLED UX3402 also has a relatively light all-aluminium body, decent performance thanks to Intel’s latest processors, great connectivity, excellent keyboard and trackpad, and a fairly long battery life.
The ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED not only looks elegant, but it also has a superior OLED display, features and performance that will awe most mobile users.

The ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED UX3402Z harmonizes a good balance with next generation hardware like much faster SSD than ever on a laptop, DDR5 RAM for snappy memory management and not to forget, the Intel 12th generation processor under the hood, screaming to give a good fight with Team Red. This particular Zenbook 14 makes me forget about the Headphone Jack less Zenbook and that’s good.
Even if it's not quite as fashion-forward, long-lasting or geared around a GPU as some of the other options, the new ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED holds its own as a balanced slice of portable performance that feels as great to rely on in short bursts.
Another year, another Asus notebook. This one's a belter but that's because it's most of the best bits of 2022's models welded onto one of Intel's newest Raptor Lake Core i7 processors. Of course, it's a little faster but it's only worth your time if you gave Asus' offerings a miss last year. If that's you, you'll be pleased with what's under the hood here.
