A WF-C500 vezeték nélküli fülhallgató tökéletesen illik a füledbe. De ne tévesszen meg a mérete. A finoman elhalkuló és a magas frekvenciájú hangokat visszaállító DSEE technológiának köszönhetően kiváló hangminőséget nyújt. Ez a Bluetooth® fülhallgató okostelefon-barát is egyben, melyet egyszerű használni, és többféle színben kapható.

A világ első fülbe helyezhető fülhallgatójának (MDR-E252) 1982-es bemutatása óta hatalmas mennyiségű adatot gyűjtöttünk a fülformákról világszerte. A WF-C500 fülhallgató ennek a kutatásnak is a terméke, amely a hallóüreghez igazodó formát új, ergonomikus felületkialakítással ötvözi a stabilabb illeszkedés érdekében.

The Sony WF-C500 makes for a comfortable commuting and workout companion. You might miss having ANC in loud environments, but decent isolation helps account for a bit of that while the lightweight design is easily worn all day long.
Yes, the WF-C500 can be bettered (and by quite a margin) for battery life, but you’ll be hard-pushed to find a more comfortable pair. Yes, you can buy greater outright scale of sound but you won’t encounter a more complete control app. Some alternatives are a punchier and more ‘exciting’ listen, but very few strike a more convincing sonic balance. As an overall package, then, the newly Award-winning Sony WF-C500 are genuine contenders.
First and foremost, these buds are great value for money. Sound is well-defined, these earbuds describe a soundstage really convincingly, and we also liked that they're incredibly comfortable, offering a snug fit and water-resistance. Of course, Sony had to cut corners to get the price down. You won't find noise cancellation here, battery life is just fine and the sound could be deeper. What's more, you will find similar quality at a similar price these days, as there are more and more budget true wireless earbuds entering the market. But Sony is one of the best brands out there for audio tech and these are a solid pair of all-rounders—you can't go wrong with these buds.
The Sony WF-C500 are budget-friendly earbuds with a very neutral sound profile. Ηowever, our unit's left and right earbuds are a bit mismatched, and there's more low-bass in our unit's right ear. Their sound can be customized with a graphic EQ and presets in their companion app, which also lets you set up 360 Reality Audio, a surround sound feature, although you need to pay for a compatible streaming service for it to work. They also have a long continuous battery life of about 14 hours. Their controls are big buttons on the outside surface of the buds, but unfortunately, they aren't very intuitive at first and can hurt your ears when pressed.
If all you care about is getting a basic set of earbuds that work consistently and sound good in the process, you can save a heaping of cash and go with Sony’s basic buds. Sometimes less is more — unless you want noise cancellation or other features that demand a higher price. It’s fair to have some pause and consider what you’re giving up, but if you can snag the C500s on sale (at press time they’re as low as $68), they’re far from the worst impulse buy you’ll ever make.

The Sony WF-C500 might be basic wireless earbuds but they still offer excellent sound quality, a comfortable fit and manual equaliser settings in an easy-to-use smartphone app. Of course, there are areas where they could be improved, like the fact that Sony could boost the case’s battery life and add noise-cancelling to the mix. But those downfalls are ultimately what keeps the price so low and they’re not that significant anyway. Up against other similarly priced headphones, these stand out as some of the best, if not the best. If you don’t want to spend hundreds on your next pair of true wireless earbuds then the Sony WF-C500 wireless earbuds are definitely worth considering.
Depends. There are a lot of reasons to like the Sony WF-C500: the low price, the good sound quality, the comprehensive mobile app, and the sturdy case. All of that combines for a very solid listening and user experience that is honestly a steal at only $99. If you’ve got a budget and don’t need all the high-end features, you have found your new headphones. If, however, you like a bit of flair to your listening experience or just need headphones to drown out a noisy environment, you might want to look elsewhere. The Sony WF-C500 lacks the potentially necessary features like noise-canceling and transparency mode that some users simply can’t do without.
Many budget wireless earbuds favour booming bass over sonic detail, but the WF-C500 buck that trend and are some of the most detail-rich earbuds available at their price point. Effective EQ options ensure their sound is highly customisable, while 360 Reality Audio delivers a more immersive listening experience for those with premium streaming service subscriptions. You’ll need to look elsewhere for features such as active noise cancellation and Bluetooth multipoint, but if simple physical controls paired with crisp, well-balanced sound are what you’re after, the Sony WF-C500 deliver the goods.
With the WF-C500, Sony arguably has the best wireless earbuds under $100. Getting the bass performance of some of their mid-range models with proprietary technologies that enhance the listening experience is unheard of at this price point. The WF-C500 isn’t perfect, as exemplified by its impractical controls and mediocre capacity from the charging case, but these are trivial complaints when factoring in the level of sound Sony has managed to engineer into these tiny buds, making them a great value buy.
Admittingly, in terms of pricepoint the Sony WF-C500 keep quite some distance to the WF-1000XM4. That said, we were also experiencing a certain setback in terms of audiophile sound quality. Instead of silky transparency, we were experiencing at most a somewhat obtrusive treble. And instead of rich, dry bass, we felt an abundance of punch. All in all, some tracks even had a tendency to sound a bit unpleasant, if not aggressive, when listening for a long time.
Sony’s WF-C500 earphones deliver a rich, bright mix with plenty of midrange presence, thankfully avoiding the recent trend of dramatically scooped-out sound signatures. That said, if you do want crazy amounts of bass boosting, the in-app EQ enables you to add as much as you desire. As mentioned, we’re also fans of the $80 Jabra Elite 3 and the $80 Anker Soundcore Life P3. Jabra's earphones offer better durability for heavy exercise, while Anker's active noise cancellation is the best we've heard under $100. For the top audio quality, however, our recommendation lies with Sony.
It’s always hard to tell after only spending a short amount of time with a product like this, but the WF-C500 seem to be very well built and will probably prove quite hardy. But their biggest advantage in terms of longevity is their battery capacity. As a product ages and you put it through multiple charge/discharge cycles, capacity will drop. If you only start with four to five hours, you could be looking at as little as two hours after a few years. Even if the C500 drop by 50% of their capacity (a worst-case scenario), they’ll still be able to last longer than a brand new set of Apple AirPods Pro.
If sound is what you prioritize most and want it in high quality for an unbeatable price, then there’s no reason why you shouldn’t purchase the Sony WF-C500. Powerful bass remains at the sonic forefront, and frequencies are balanced well for a more rounded listening experience. 360 Reality Audio and DSEE are sweet additions that Sony didn’t have to include, but they did. Battery life (per charge) is another hallmark of these buds, and though the charging case is one of the weakest out there, it looks pretty cool.
Sony WF-C500 caught me off-guard with the tuning choice. They are unlike most Sony IEMs out there, and I do not mean that in a negative connotation. Most budget TWS IEMs go for a bassy, muddy sound that lacks clarity and definition. The WF-C500 buck that trend and offer something different. There are compromises, noticeable in mic quality, build of the case, and lack of ANC and other smart features. In terms of raw sound though, the WF-C500 are very compelling. The EQ support in the app and Sony’s proprietary DSP features are just icing on the proverbial cake. Once you factor in the budget price, these rightfully earn a recommendation.
Samsung took some risks with its noise-canceling true wireless earbuds. Design-wise, the Galaxy Buds Live offer a more comfortable fit that sits outside of your ear canal. Of course, that means there are some sacrifices to sound quality and the effectiveness of the ANC. When you add in mediocre audio and the battery life caveats, these are hard to recommend. If Samsung can iron out a few of these issues, the Galaxy Buds Live could be a compelling option, but that may be hard to do because of the design.
So, should you buy the Sony WF-C500? That totally depends upon what your preference is! Sony WF-C500 certainly shines in two areas- secure fit and great sound. The earbuds are quite comfortable in terms of design and hence can be a good option for you. However, if you want bigger battery life, transparency mode and ANC support, this TWS earbud is not the perfect choice for you. In that case, you can choose the competitors’ Realme Buds Air 2 or Nothing Ear 1.
