Számomra a Tab S8+ még mindig túl nagy, ölben sem kényelmes a szövegbevitel, filmet nézni pedig kizárólag akkor, ha ne nekem kell fogi. Produktív munkát csak billentyűzetes tokkal, de minimum egy támasztékkal és perifériákkal tudnék végezni rajta, ha szoftveresen nem lenne továbbra is korlátozottan alkalmas bizonyos tevékenységekre. A Tab S8 sokkal kezesebb, tudásban és a funkciókat tekintve viszont ugyanazt nyújtja, mint a nagyobbak.
Samsung is already ahead of the curve with the refined tablet features on the Tab S8+, but this device will also get Android 12L later this year. I'm confident the Tab S8+ will get better with time as Google finally acknowledges that tablets are an important part of the Android ecosystem, and Samsung has promised to keep this device updated for five years with four years of major Android OS updates.
I'm a firm believer that you should never buy a product for its promise of future updates. The Tab S8 Plus is an exception. Not only does the Samsung tablet impress in hardware, but it delivers software features (for the stylus as well!) that no other Android manufacturer is doing. And with up to five years of software support, there's a lot more upside for this mid-sized Galaxy tablet.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Plus hits the sweet spot when it comes to design, performance, and flexibility. This is a powerful slate with an excellent widescreen display, an included S Pen, and plenty of extras to entice would-be buyers, though it hits the ceiling of what’s possible on Android tablet software and mobile processors.
When Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab S8 lineup, it said a lot of people turned to their tablets in the past two years for work, school, gaming and video. And apparently, those people were yearning for larger screens: Sales of large-screen tablets grew 24%, Samsung said, based on analysis from NPD Group. But, the Ultra might be a step too far for most people and, by comparison, the Galaxy Tab S8 Plus is a better size that's just right for work and play.
But I think the biggest hurdle with the Tab S8 and S8 Plus as they are is their pricing. These are premium tablets with big price tags — especially once you start to add accessories to them.

If you’re looking for a content consumer or a Netflix box, there are any number of tablets that will fit that bill for far less money. But if you want a tablet that can work and play with you, and you want it to be Android, this is the best there is.
We found that as a tablet it's fine in all respects, but although the keyboard cover is good, its magnetic attachment lets go too easily, which could be disastrous if you're not careful while on-the-go. If you're in the market for a premium Android tablet, the S8+ has a lot to offer, but check out the S8 and S8 Ultra as well to make sure you get the right size for your needs.
The Galaxy Tab S8 Plus’s only real competitor is the slightly cheaper Lenovo Tab P12 Pro. If you find the Galaxy Tab S8 Plus’s display too dim to be used outdoors or its battery life to be a deal breaker the Lenovo tablet can be a great alternative. Having said that you need to keep in mind that Lenovo’s Precision Pen 3 cannot hold a candle to the excellent stylus experience offered by Samsung’s S Pen.
Bottom line: The Galaxy Tab S8+ emulates the Galaxy Tab S7+ in its design while adding scratch-proof materials, faster connectivity with optional 5G, improved S Pen responsiveness, a vastly improved selfie camera, and game-changing software upgrades for using several apps at once. While somewhat tricky to hold, it's much lighter than the Tab S8 Ultra and iPad Pro while offering plenty of power. Just be prepared to buy a fast charger and keyboard cover on top of the high price.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ manages to succeed in all the important points. Performance is very good with room for improvement, the AMOLED screen provides a great audiovisual spectacle (alongside the 4-speakers) and the overall experience of the device is good. The design, S Pen support, and the multitasking abilities unlocked with Dex mode are also nice additions but could use some improvements while a dire upgrade is required for the battery and especially the charging times.
The Galaxy Tab S8+ is equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and boasts high CPU and graphics performance…although, so far, it can only be used for non-gaming purposes. The Galaxy Tab S8+ comes with features such as low-latency S Pen input, AKG quad speakers, and microSD card for additional capacity, which is useful for both creative tablet users and media players.
