Összegzés. Ha 6,1 hüvelyk nem elég, akkor az idei iPhone-ok közül a Pro Max jöhet csak számításba. A szenzorszintű stabilizáció tényleg ütőképes, de azt ezt valóban kihasználó felhasználói réteg azért elég keskeny.
Summa summarum, ha a legnagyobb kijelzős, legjobb kamerás, leghosszabb üzemidős új Apple okostelefonra vágyunk, akkor csakis az iPhone 12 Pro Max jöhet szóba. Aki beéri kisebb kijelzővel, kicsit gyengébb kamerával és némileg rövidebb üzemidővel, az iPhone 12 Próval is jó vételt csinálhat, ráadásul egy keveset még spórolhat is.
Nem kérdés: az iPhone 12 Pro Max az Apple valaha készült legnagyobb tudású okostelefonja. Azt viszont nem állítanánk, hogy mindenki számára a legjobb választás. If you’re looking for one of the best iPhones on the market, the iPhone 12 Pro Max is still worth checking out: it’s powerful, has the longest battery life on an iPhone we tested in 2020 and the camera is top-notch. You'll need to be ready to carry the extra heft, as this is a large iPhone indeed, and the cost isn't to be sniffed at, but we're adding an extra half star for all those iPhone fans that just want the best Apple can bring – the iPhone 12 Pro Max manages to do that rather well.
So, should you buy this thing? I can answer that a few ways. If you're a big-phone person, or you care about camera performance above all, the Pro Max is the one you should be looking at. It's a fantastic device, and the blend of power and battery life and cameras makes it easy to overlook some of the things Apple left out this year. Like I said earlier, I've turned into a small-phone guy during quarantine, but this is still the iPhone I'd buy for myself.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max lives up to its name in a few key ways. You get a much bigger display than the regular iPhone 12 Pro and much longer battery life. Personally, I didn’t find that the Max’s larger camera sensor produced much better looking images than what you get from other iPhone 12 models, but it is nice that you get a more powerful zoom.

In a nutshell about the iPhone 12 Pro Max battery life, if you leave 5G streaming constantly on and engage in heavy gaming sessions, you'll quickly spot a hit to battery life, as can be expected. If Apple had added 120Hz refresh rate, it would be a battery massacre indeed.
Of this year's four new iPhones, I recommend the iPhone 12 mini (which costs $400 less than this phone) as the best overall value, and the iPhone 12 Pro for people who see the 2x zoom camera as a must. But if battery anxiety leads you to this half-pound phone, do whatever helps you get through this very stressful year.

The iPhone 12 Pro Max is the most capable of the 2020 iPhone line, and it comes at the highest premium. That high price doesn’t come with a ton of upgrades though. Its improvements over the iPhone 12 Pro are marginal, and the telephoto sensor has limited utility. Unless screen real estate is your main concern, there’s better value to be had.
There’s a certain assumption that those considering buying an iPhone 12 Pro Max already know that, along with being the best and brightest Apple can muster in a smartphone, it also comes with a unique set of compromises and niche features.
From my perspective, the iPhone 12 Pro Max has completely lived up to its promise. The issues I’ve noted above were there when it first went on sale. Six months hasn’t changed the equation at all. If you’re in the market for an iPhone and want the biggest screen, the highest-quality camera, and the best battery life you can get, the iPhone 12 Pro Max is the only option for you.
So, if you have the money and an Apple handset is absolutely the only phone you’ll consider, then the iPhone 12 Pro Max is what you should get. It’s the best iPhone by a country mile and there’s simply no need to look anywhere else. Is it good enough to persuade Android fans to choose it over the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, though? Not quite.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max is the most feature-rich Apple smartphone this year, but comes at a significant price – both monetary and physically. If you can manage its sheer gargantuan size and cost, the iPhone 12 Pro Max is one hell of a superphone.
On paper there is some impressive tech associated with the camera inside the iPhone 12 Pro Max, but the iPhone 12 Pro camera is so good though that unless you really want the bigger display and slightly longer battery life, I’d suggest that the iPhone 12 Pro would be more than satisfactory.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max truly is an excellent handset, as long as you’re willing to embrace such a sizeable phone. It offers fantastic battery life, a marginally better camera than the smaller Pro, and a screen that’s a pleasure for watching, reading and playing.
Overall, as usual, the iPhone 12 Pro produces excellent images, and anyone buying the phone with particular interest in the camera should be very happy. Beautifully vibrant shots are all but guaranteed in good light, while low light shots are also impressive - particularly the standard lens.
At the end of my iPhone 12 Pro review, I said that you probably should look at the 12 Pro Max instead if you don't have any budget constraints, and after reviewing it, I feel that it is indeed the better option. Yes, it's about Rs. 10,000 more than the iPhone 12 Pro no matter which storage variant you pick, but you get a much bigger display, longer battery life, and some improvements to the rear cameras.
You must have a telephoto, want the biggest display, and all-day battery life. LiDAR and a stainless steel frame are also nice, but you can get those on the Pro and save yourself some money.
In short, while the iPhone 12 Pro Max is well worth stretching to if you’re a keen photographer or videographer, the standard iPhone 12 is without a doubt the performance-per-pound pick of the current range – and more than enough phone for all but the most demanding of users.
If the iPhone 12 Pro Max is the iPhone you always wanted, buy it without fear. It is an incredibly solid device on every front, and will serve you well. It's just not for everybody.
With the iPhone 12 Pro Max, Apple delivers its best performing smartphone yet, with its best performing camera onboard. There’s a lot to like for both everyday snappers and more seasoned photographers, though for the latter we’d still like to see some more advanced controls. The differences between the iPhone 12 Pro are not as vast as we might have thought or expected, so if you prefer a more pocket-friendly phone, you won’t be missing out too much by plumping for the smaller (and less expensive) option.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max is defined by three things: Its huge size, its long battery life, and its more capable camera. If you buy it, it should be because of the first feature, not the latter two. I truly believe that only those who want a large phone, with its big screen and extra space to work and play, should buy one. Anyone who buys the iPhone 12 Pro Max because of the expectation of longer battery life and camera improvements, despite being a size larger than they can handle, will be disappointed.
