A Roborock S5 Max egy továbbfejlesztett változata a népszerű Roborock S5 robotporszívónak. The Roborock S5 Max is very good for bare floors. It sucks up pet hair and small and bulky debris with minimal difficulty and does a great job maneuvering itself on bare floors. It also feels very well-built, with a dense plastic body and durable rubber wheels. Battery performance is fantastic, with a maximum runtime of over four hours, which is plenty of time for cleaning very large areas. Unfortunately, its mopping functionality isn't especially effective, as it does little to scrub away dried-on messes.
If you’re looking for a robot vacuum with advanced features such as maps and scheduling but want to get the most from your budget, this is a capable machine at a good price point.
The Roborock S5 Max does an EXCELLENT job. The manufacturer identified the minor weaknesses of its predecessor and improved them - Especially the mopping performance. When you keep that in mind, you see the "malprovements" (meagre scope of delivery, a slight decline in the charging station) in a new light. These cost savings were probably necessary to keep such a great price.
The Roborock S5 Max blew me away with it’s vacuuming and mopping performance. It’s the first hybrid product that does both tasks well thanks to the new electronic water tank. The mop will clean up wet spills and dry stains without leaving streaks or a puddle of water. The vacuum motor also did very well in nearly all of the cleaning tests, even the deep cleaning test, where it scored an average of 93.9% on two tests.
I found that the S5 Max was more impressive and easier to use than the rival Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo 930, and more thorough in terms of cleaning. If your home has a number of hard floors then the Roborock S5 Max is an excellent and well-priced option, but there are newer and more powerful cleaners in my guide to the best robot vacuums.

Of all of Roborock’s cleaners, then, it’s the S5 Max that hits that perfect spot between price and performance. Outside of Roborock’s cleaners, the Dyson 360 Heurist is a little more powerful but it can’t mop and it’s a lot more expensive. For the price, then, the S5 Max is the best robot vacuum cleaner that I’ve tested.
Roborock’s robot vacuum/mop hybrid gets better with each new version. Thoughtful feature upgrades and performance improvements make the S5 Max the best yet. If your home has multiple floor surfaces, it can lighten your cleaning load significantly. It also earns our pick for best robot mop/vacuum hybrid, while iRobot’s Roomba 960 remains our favorite robot vacuum overall.
We're pretty sold on the Roborock S5 Max, one of the first robot vacuums we've seen that is a good smart vacuum — and also handles mopping very well. We think the ability to adjust how much water is coming out of the S5 Max is what flips the device to a very efficient mopping robot.
The Roborock S5's precise mapping and navigation requires little monitoring or intervention, and its battery life is the best we've seen yet. If it weren't for the issues with its app, you'd be looking at a higher score at the top of the page. As it stands, the Roborock S5 is a solid robot vacuum/mop hybrid if app connectivity isn't your primary concern
The Roborock S5 Max is a powerful robot vacuum that has a nice balance of smart features, good performance, and usability. It functions as a robot vacuum or a mopping robot. There are 5 different modes, although there seemed to be minimal impact in performance between the different modes. Control the vacuum with on-board buttons, your smartphone, or even your voice. If you’re looking for a smarter way to vacuum, the Roborock S5 Max could be a solid option to consider.
I can't deny that the S5 Max does a fantastic job of keeping my floors clean. It's speed and efficiency only gets better with more use and after spending a frustrating period of time figuring out how to use the Mi Home app, I was able to create a wonderfully customized floor plan, which allows me to do such things as spot clean a spill, power clean my rugs, and keep Robbie away from the fireplace. It's pretty impressive, once you figure out how to use the app.
In the time that I've owned the Roborock S5 Max, I've grown to depend upon it. It regularly vacuums my home on a schedule that I determined and it does a fabulous job of keeping my floors clean. All of the pet hair that used to buildup on my floors magically disappears each morning, leaving my home looking immaculately clean.
If you only have carpeted floors, it doesn’t make sense to invest in Roborock’s S5 Max. You’re better off paying less for an option that only vacuums and caters specifically to carpets. But if you have at least one or two rooms in your home with floors of tile, hardwood, laminate, or any other hard flooring, having a two-in-one robot vacuum and mop like the S5 Max is a lifesaver.
