Én a magam részéről ebben az időpillanatban nem váltanék feltétlenül a Watch3-ról vagy Watch Active2-ről Watch4-re, de az is tény, hogy a tokozás vékonyabb, az üzemidő ennek ellenére nem romlott, a szilikon szíj hihetetlenül kellemes érzetű és tud egy-két praktikus apróságot az új szoftver, köztük a Google Pay-t, ami irtó erős érv a Google rendszere mellett, noha ehhez most még trükközni kell egy kicsit.
Ha az első okos órának veszed, akkor elégedett leszel. Ha viszont Samsung Gear Watch 2 v. 3-ról váltasz, akkor több, apró bosszúság érhet, hiányozhatnak a megszokott számlapjaid, zavarhat a felcserélt home és vissza gomb és az a kiforrott rendszer egy darabig hiányozni fog, amit a Tizennel kaptál. Amint a Wear OS feljön a Tizen szintjére és lehagyja azt, még erősebb konkurenciát jelent a Watch széria.
Ezen a ponton megállapíthatjuk, hogy a Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro fokozatos javulást jelent az előző modellhez képest. Az előző modellhez képest nincsenek jelentős különbségek, sőt, ha már rendelkezel Galaxy Watch 4 Classic készülékkel, valószínűleg nem akarsz majd átállni az új modellre. Viszont amennyiben nagyon szeretnénk egy új Wear OS 3-at futtató órát, de nem Samsung okostelefonnal szeretnénk használni, két választási lehetőségünk van. Elfogadjuk a kompromisszumokat, amelyeket a Watch 4 követel (Samsung-szoftverek telepítése, letiltott szenzorok), vagy várunk, amíg más gyártók is felzárkóznak, és piacra dobják a saját Wear OS 3-as óráikat. Hogy az mikor lesz, nem tudni. Az ellenben biztos, hogy addig a Galaxy Watch 4 lesz a legjobb okosóra az androidos világban.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4’s headline feature is a revamp of its software that combines the look and feel of Samsung’s existing Tizen platform and the functionality of Wear OS. It has good fitness features, strong battery life and a comfortable design. There are some compatibility issues, which may frustrate some potential buyers, but largely the Galaxy Watch 4 is an interesting iteration of Samsung’s top smartwatch formula.
Bottom line: The cheaper of the two Galaxy Watch models, the Galaxy Watch 4, has everything you want from a fitness smartwatch but lacks the stainless steel heft and rotating bezel of the more expensive Watch 4 Classic. But if you want the green colorway, which is lovely, the Watch 4 is your only option. The Galaxy Watch 4 Classic was the true flagship of the Samsung wearable lineup with a stainless steel build and rotating bezel, plus all the great performance, health tracking, and longevity of the Galaxy Watch 4. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro has supplanted it, but you don't get the Classic's rotating bezel.
I do miss Samsung's rotating physical bezel quite a bit, but even without it I'm still very impressed with the Watch4's construction, from its relatively sleek frame to its ability to resist casual damage. This is probably the best-looking smartwatch I've ever worn, and while I dream of throttling whoever approved the band design, that only highlights how well the rest of package here works.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic are two fantastic smartwatches that we could recommend to most Android users. Those who own Samsung smartphones will feel a little more at home, though, as Samsung's apps and services are injected throughout the whole experience. All in all, these two smartwatches are great showcases for Google and Samsung's Wear OS 3 platform.
The Galaxy Watch 4 continues Samsung’s impressive smartwatch track record, but the partnership with Google seems to have elevated both parties. At least until Wear OS 3 launches in full in 2022, this iteration is probably the best smartwatch software outside of an Apple Watch, and the chipset improvements and body composition tracking ensure that the hardware is specced to match.
Whether you're looking for an all-singing, all-dancing smartwatch or just a smart-looking tracker, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 series seemingly does it all. These watches are slimmer, more powerful and more affordable than their predecessors, giving Android phone users a compelling option to consider. It's quite the showcase for how far Wear OS has come in a short period of time.
Samsung is leading the pack with the first effort, and the Galaxy Watch 4 has a lot going for it. But it still doesn't feel like One Unified OS to make me feel like I'm solidly in one ecosystem. That's because I'm not: it's still Samsung's watch world, with a Google layer underneath.Maybe that was the idea all along. Maybe the watch will get even better over time. But will the next Wear OS watches be similar, or even better? I can't tell. Samsung's Galaxy Watch 4 may be the best option for now, and it doesn't feel as fully perfected as I expected.

Starting at $249.99, the Watch4 delivers more apps than previous Samsung watches thanks to the switch to Wear OS. It can track your snoring in addition to your blood oxygen saturation. And it features a body composition scanner that can help you keep an eye on your body fat percentage. From a design perspective, it features a sleek, slim aluminum case with a functional digital bezel, which are its only differences from the $349.99 Classic model.
The Galaxy Watch4 series bring industry-leading processing, display technology, fitness and health tracking and deep integration with Galaxy phones that's only matched by Apple's watch and phone combination. Put simply, these are the best smartwatches for the general Android user - the one that likes to track health and fitness and keep an eye out on notifications.
If you want a stylish smartwatch then the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 looks fantastic and isn't overly expensive. Running on Wear OS powered by Samsung, it's incredibly straightforward with easy access to everything Google. You also get loads of health tracking features including a heart rate monitor, sleep tracking and the new body composition tool.
Ireally enjoyed using the Galaxy Watch 4. It has been a genuine pleasure to have a competent and capable smartwatch paired to my Android phone — one that doesn’t have any show-stopping problems. But the reason I had that nice experience was because I was using the Galaxy Watch 4 with a Samsung phone. If you’re a Samsung user, the Galaxy Watch 4 is an excellent smartwatch. If you’re not, the Galaxy Watch 4 all but forces you into Samsung’s ecosystem.
There’s been a lot of disappointment with Wear OS over the years, but with the Galaxy Watch 4, Samsung and Google seem to finally be turning the tide. The colourful new UI is a joy to use, and dusty Wear OS facets like Tiles and Google Maps have been given a major facelift with super-fast speed to boot. Only time will tell if Wear OS 3 attracts the level of third-party attention that Google is hoping for, but the software couldn’t have asked for a better starting point than in the Galaxy Watch 4.
It’s faster and smoother than other Android-compatible smartwatches, has comprehensive health tracking, looks good and the bezel controller on the Watch 4 Classic is great. But while the battery life is at least a full 24 hours, it is a little short of best in class, Bixby, is still slower and less capable, you can’t use the Watch 4 with an iPhone and some features don’t work if you use it with an Android device not made by Samsung.
The Galaxy Watch4 has one serious drawback – battery life. However, the new Wear OS compensates for this disadvantage to some extent by providing new features. Personally, I really like the design of the watch, it is original, restrained and elegant. It will definitely appeal to both active and sporty users, as well as those who care about style. The classic strap attachment is also an advantage, as it makes it possible to buy any other strap with suitable dimensions. And the bundled strap also left a very good impression, especially during the training process. The watch is very comfortable to wear, it is thin, light, and the underside follows the shape of the wrist very well.
