Ezen a ponton megállapíthatjuk, hogy a Redmi Watch 2 Lite inkább egy óra formájú kvantumos karkötő. Nem kínálja azokat a funkciókat, amelyeket a nagyobb teljesítményű okosórák általában kínálnak. Ez egy egyszerű óra, amely nem megy túl ezen. Alapvető egészségügyi mérőszámokat, GPS-chipet, értesítéseket és hívásokat kínál, de semmi mást. The Redmi Watch 2 Lite isn’t a high-end device in any way, but it might just be the right one for you if you don’t care about apps, payment features, or an always-on display. The watch does its fitness tracking just fine in the background, and you can always use raise-to-wake to see the time when you need it. It will also prevent you from missing any important messages, at least once you’ve set up notifications in the app and the watch correctly. Just be sure to download the companion app from the Play Store — there’s no need to get it from Xiaomi’s source.
The Redmi Watch 2 Lite is a budget smartwatch that belies its price. It looks good, has a nice, colourful screen and most of the features on board work well. The smartwatch features are basic, but they work. The surprising array of sports and fitness tracking features perform well too, making it a strong alternative to other great budget watches in this price range like the Amazfit Bip U Pro. We'd also say it's a better option than Xiaomi's own Mi Watch Lite and the TicWatch GTH for design and performance.
On the smartwatch front, the Redmi Watch 2 Lite will also cross swords with the Amazfit Bip U Pro, which also comes with GPS and similar functionality and has a similar price tag, but comes with a smaller display. The Redmi Watch was pretty much the boss of its zone. Thanks to its slightly higher price tag, the Redmi Watch 2 Lite cannot yet claim to be the same. It definitely is one of the best options for anyone who wants a smartwatch for under Rs 5,000. But it is by no means the only option.
All in all, the Redmi Watch 2 Lite is a terrific update over its predecessor—no doubt about that. But does that mean it’s a worthy smartwatch for the price in 2022? I have my doubts. Apart from the built-in GPS—which isn’t 100% reliable, to begin with—there’s not a lot going on here. So if you can make do without the built-in GPS, I strongly feel like the Redmi Smart Band Pro—that’s straight-up INR 1,000 cheaper is the better value for money.
