If you’re looking beyond Samsung, other manufacturers have options at the ready. The Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus ($179.99 at Amazon) is an even cheaper alternative that may fit your situation better if you’re more ingrained in Amazon’s ecosystem. If you’re an Apple person, ease of use will come with its price premium. However, the base iPad ($334.99 at Amazon) is still a very compelling option. It also features the A13 Bionic chip, which is far superior to the MediaTek Helio P22T when you factor in how well Apple optimizes its software for its hardware.
Samsung has been pitching the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite as a small, useful Android tablet that's easy on your wallet, and in my experience that's exactly what you get when you buy one. While reading this review, you probably noticed the phrase "good enough" quite a few times, and that's for good reason: if you're looking for a compact Android tablet to browse the Internet, watch videos, or play games on, the Tab A7 Lite is good enough to satisfy your needs.
There are plenty of great Android tablets, but I like a lot of the choices they made with the A7 Lite. Too often, companies fall into the trap of wanting to be everything to everyone, even with budget technology. The A7, on the other hand, knew what it wanted to be when it grew up. It provides a best-in-class viewing experience at a budget price point — although this comes at a cost to performance in other areas.
The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is a decent option if you’re looking for a cheap tablet with a sleek design and plenty of app support. I wouldn’t choose this tablet over a device with a higher resolution screen for streaming video, and the camera leaves something to be desired. There’s also no S Pen support, so this wouldn’t be on the list for those into digital art or taking notes by hand. However if you’re looking for a good-quality tablet with a bright screen to browse and edit documents or share with the family, the A7 Lite is a solid, lightweight option that won’t hurt your wallet.
Samsung's Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is an inexpensive 8-inch tablet for web surfing and multimedia that is also suitable for one or two games. Disadvantages are the low-resolution display, the mediocre performance, weak cameras and the meager storage.
Samsung always delivers in any segment that you can think of. They have really stacked the Galaxy A7 Lite in every aspect as well. You are given as much as you can ask for in a low-range tablet. But the tablet market is similar to the phone market. The devices get really old fast. I would also recommend checking on a newer version – Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 and if you have a bit bigger budget – Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022 model). I personally believe, and this is my subjective opinion – that S6 Lite currently is the best budget Android tablet out there.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite Review: The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is an entry-level tablet that can be a good choice if you're looking for an affordable 8-inch device. Its design, performance, and software are good for its price and I like that it's small enough to fit in one hand. With that being said, I wish the 8.7-inch screen would have a higher resolution and the battery life could be a bit better.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is certainly capable of serving anyone well, but ultimately boils down to your needs in a tablet. It’s affordable, surprisingly solid build quality for the price, the stereo speakers work great, capable of a lengthy standby time, has dual band Wi-Fi support, 4G LTE support, and it’s very convenient to bring around.
