A Xiaomi Watch S1 2021 év végén debütált, jelenleg ez a modell jelenti a prémium kategóriát a kínai gyártó kínálatában, és nem csupán a rozsdamentes acélból készült borítás vagy a zafírüveg kijelző miatt.

A Watch S1 szemrevaló belépő a Xiaomitól a prémium anyaghasználatú órák sorába: jó ránézni, szuper a méretes AMOLED panelt használni, kitartó a működés, kellemes a szenzorkollekció és még csereszíj is van a pakkban. Az S1 azonban még mindig inkább felturbózott aktivitáskövető, mint teljes értékű okos- vagy sportóra. Az előbbihez hiányzik a valódi nyitott rendszer, a zenetárhely, az eSIM, a komolyabb önálló működés vagy pont a jobb mobilos összhang (hiányzó értesítési válasz, Google Segéd, Wallet órafizetés stb.)
A Xiaomi Watch S1 Active okosóra remek dizájnnal, szuper AMOLED kijelzővel, jó vízállósággal és rengeteg extra funkcióval (köztük hang és okosotthon vezérléssel) érdemli ki a figyelmet. Jó választás, mert remek a dizájn, jól eltalálta a gyártó, nem az a tipikus egyszerű, de nincs is túltolva, bár csak részben fém, azért masszív és 5ATM szinten vízálló, a kijelző elsőrangú, elég jó fényerővel, always on móddal, amiből van egész sok különböző van...
The Xiaomi Watch S1 is supposed to be a jack of all trades: a smart partner in sports and a sleek companion in everyday life. In terms of equipment features, the smartwatch is impressive. The stainless steel case gives a solid impression, two straps for different purposes are provided, and Qi charging is supported. It also scores well in terms of a crisp display and decent battery runtime. The Xiaomi Watch S1 is well equipped, but unfortunately still incomplete.
Let’s return to the question of whether it is worth buying this watch, given that it is not so cheap. Yes, the watch looks chic, steel case, two straps included, and leather will look great in the company of a business suit. Yes, there are a number of advanced features, including NFC for payment in stores, wireless charging, excellent AMOLED-display, the ability to answer calls from the watch, excellent heart rate and saturation sensors, barometer and altimeter. Autonomous work up to 7-12 days, depending on the activity, is also very pleasing.
The Xiaomi Watch S1 is another good option for Android users that offers a good mix of fitness and smartwatch features wrapped up in an attractive design. It might not be better than the competition around it, but there's certainly more to like than hate here.
During testing we found plenty of positives with the Watch S1 with it featuring good hardware, for the price, and reliable albeit basic fitness tracking and notification support. Where it falls down is with the promise of big sports watch features and smartwatch features that aren’t quite on a level with the competition just yet. I’m sure Xiaomi will get there, but competition at this price is fierce and I’m not sure the Xiaomi Watch S1 does enough to beat rivals.

Yes, if you want a fancy fitness tracker with a few smartwatch features tacked on. I could see this being a great replacement for a Fitbit or a Huawei Watch, but it still doesn’t compete against the Galaxy Watch4 or Apple Watch. If you’re looking at a Fitbit for fitness tracking and want something that’s more watch-like, this is perfect. It has a limited feature set, good fitness and health tracking, and fantastic battery. At $199 for the Xiaomi Watch S1 Active and $269 for the Xiaomi Watch S1, these are good values, but the Galaxy Watch4 could be around the same price on sale. That’s a more powerful device, but it also needs to go on the charger every night.
HarmonyOS should not be viewed as a drawback but rather an ecosystem with great potential, and unlike Huawei’s smartphones which struggle to break the software monopoly of Google, you can comfortably use these watches paired to your regular phone (Google or no Google). That being said, the smart features of the Watch GT3 Pro are still quite limited, and you should take the Watch GT3 Pro for what it actually is - an ultra-premium, fitness and health-focused wearable that looks great.
Software is once again HUAWEI’s weakest link. Without an expansive list of supported apps and some problematic third-party integrations, the HUAWEI Watch GT 3 Pro feels a little isolated, like a jewel on a desert island. It’s an expensive, premium-looking smartwatch lacking premium software and support. To be fair, HUAWEI typically updates its watches a lot after launch, patching bugs and rolling out additional features. As it stands right now though I’d suggest waiting a couple of months before buying a GT 3 Pro to see which features will come to your region and be supported on your phone.
Normally, I would say that if that’s what you want, you should buy this. However, with the Xiaomi Watch S1 Active existing for a much lower price, anyone thinking of getting this mostly for the sake of health tracking should just buy that. If you want a watch that looks like this but does all the things you need and don’t mind paying the premium to get it, you want a Galaxy Watch 4 Classic ($349). Granted, that watch is missing Google Assistant support (still!), so that problem would still be there. However, at least you could control and respond to notifications, gain access to a wealth of apps and watch faces, and still have the fitness features you need.
The Xiaomi Watch S1 is zippy performer, with solid fitness and sports tracking – and you get some good smartwatch features thrown in too. Topped off with week-long battery life. The experience isn't quite as good as similarly priced Fitbit or Amazfit smartwatches – but it's a much improved showing from Xiaomi in the smartwatch space, and its watches are quickly becoming strong affordable alternatives, particularly for Android users.
Battery life is excellent—12 days on a single charge. This is far, far better than Apple and Samsung’s smartwatches, which can only only go about a day and a half to two days at most. However, those watches have a much more interactive notification system.One more area in which the Xiaomi Watch S1 wins—it works with both Android and iOS. The Apple Watch, obviously, doesn’t work with Android, and Samsung’s new Galaxy Watch 4 won’t work with iOS, either. This gives the Xiaomi Watch a bit more versatility—and a lower price to boot.
